Bolognese Sauce


How to Prepare

1 lb. of Veal
2 lbs. of Ground Beef
½ lb. of Pancetta
1 ½ tsp. of Salt
¼ tsp. od Pepper
⅓ cup of White Wine
1 cup of chopped Onion
6 cloves of Garlic
½ cup of Italian Flat Parsley
¼ cup of Butter
2 lbs. of Pasta
1 cup of Cream
1 large can of San Marzano crushed tomatoes


  1. To make Soffito, coat a pan with ⅓ cup of Vito and Joe’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  2. Add Garlic, Butter Onion, Parsley and Celery

  3. Cook ingredients down
  4. Add Butter until its melted and add White Wine

  5. Remove the mixture from pan, keep the oil in the bottom

  6. Add the Ground Beef and Veal to cook until browned

  7. Reduce the heat to low and add the Pancetta and Soffrito mixture to the meat

  8. Add the tomato sauce to the mixture and season with Salt and Pepper

  9. Add the Cream to the sauce

  10. Stir to combine and remove from heat

  11. Drizzle the bowl with olive oil and add the pasta and sauce

  12. Top with Parmesan Cheese and Parsley
