Homemade Tomato Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

How to Prepare

   San Marzano tomato puree (3 cans)

   San Marzano tomatoes – whole (2 cans)

   White Onion (1 – diced)   

   Garlic ( 6 cloves – diced)

   Vito & Joe’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil (1/3 cup)

   Parsley (1/3 cup – fresh and chopped)

   Sea salt (~2 tsp.)

   Salted butter (1 stick)

   Oregano(1 tsp. – dried)

   Basil (1 tsp. – dried)

   Rosemary ( 1⁄2 tsp. – dried)

   Thyme ( 1⁄2 tsp. – dried)

   Pepper (~2 tbsp.)

   Table red wine (1 cup)

    

Steps:
  1. Heat a pan and keep the temperature very low.
  2.  Cover the pan leaving a slight space for some steam to escape.
  3.  Stir every 10 minutes.
    1.  Make sure to keep the bottom clean and moving to prevent
      burning. Enjoy!
