Tuna Tartare Ceviche


How to Prepare

   Tuna (yellow-fin) (1 lb.) Avocados (2)

   Cilantro (small bunch) Salt ( 1⁄4 tsp.)

   Red pepper (1/3 of a whole)

   Pepper ( 1⁄2 tsp.)

   Tomato (1)

   Sesame seeds (black and white)

   Garlic (1 – 1 1⁄2 cloves)

   Ginger flakes ( 1⁄4 tsp.)

   Lemon (1) (zest & juice)

   Olive oil (1/3 cup)

   Lime (1) (juice)














  1. Take tuna and cut it into cubes and place in a bowl to season.
  2.  Take lemon and lime and cut them in half.
  3.  Using a juicer, squeeze the lime and lemon juice into the tuna.
  4.  Take the sesame and ginger mixture and add about 2/3 of it into
    the tuna. Stir and then let set.
  5.  Take the garlic and press it into tuna.
  6.  Take the rind of the lemon and lime and zest some of them into
    the tuna and stir.
  7.  Add in the salt and pepper. Stir.
  8.  Take the red pepper and cut it into small cubes.
  9.  Remove the flesh of the tomato and then dice it.
  10.  Take the leaves of the cilantro and roll them, then cut. Add into
    the tuna and stir.
  11. Take the avocados, remove the seed and scoop out the insides
    gently. Cut the avocados into chunks.
  12.  Add olive oil into the tuna mixture and stir.
  13.  Add the avocados and fold into the mix.
  14.  Place the mixture into small dishes, and place in the refrigerator
    to set.
  15.  After about an hour, remove, flip over onto a plate and tap to
    remove the tuna.
  16. Add the sesame seeds on top. Enjoy!
