World's Best Grilled Oysters


How to Prepare

   Oysters (roughly a dozen)

   Butter (½ stick – melted)


   Garlic (2 cloves – finely shredded)

   Fontina cheese (½ cup – shredded)

   Parmesan cheese (½ cup – shredded)

   Olive oil (just to drizzle over the top)





  1. Shuck the oysters.
  2. Take the lemon, cut it in half and squeeze over the top of the oysters.
  3. Take a pinch of garlic and place it right in the middle of the oysters.
  4. Add just a pinch of the Fontina and parmesan cheeses on each oyster. 
  5. Add about ½ a teaspoon of butter on top of the cheesed oysters.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the oysters. 
  7. Place the oysters on the grill close together and cook for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Carefully remove the oysters with tongs and make sure to keep them flat. Enjoy!
