Caprese Salad

Ingredients

How to Prepare

   Tomatoes on the vine

   Basil

   Mozzarella (1 lb.)

   Pesto

   Salt

   Pepper

   Vito & Joe’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    

 

 

 

Steps:
  1. Slice the tomatoes into ¼ inch slices and spread along a plate. 
  2. Take half of the mozzarella and slice into wedges. 
  3. Spread the mozzarella slices on top of the tomato slices. 
  4. Spread some pesto among the tomatoes and mozzarella.
  5. Drizzle some olive oil on the salad. 
  6. Add presto on top of each mozzarella wedge. 
  7. Sprinkle some Vito & Joe’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil around the edge of the plate 
  8. Add some ground pepper on top for extra flavoring.
    1. Wait to add some salt until right before serving. Enjoy!
